يوم اللقاء بأولياء الأمور

في مساء يوم الأثنين 24-10-2011، عقد اللقاء الأول بين الهيئة الإدارية و التدريسية في مدرسة عبدالجليل الفهيم بأولياء أمور الطلبة. في هذا اللقاء تم تعريف الأهل بآخر قوانين المجلس الخاصة بعملية التدريس و من ثم عملية التقييم. و بعد ذلك تمكن الأهل من الاستفسار عن أبنائهم في مختلف المجالات مباشرة مع مدرسيهم. تلك بعض الصور لهذا اللقاء:

Is Adventure Worth It?

Adventure means many things to many different people. To some it may be a trip to a new shopping mall, while for others it will be a hazardous or exciting experience, perhaps trekking through a mountainous region or trekking through the desert. Parents constantly worry about their children's safety. On the one hand, parents may limit the adventure that
their children want to have because of 'what might happen, while others want their children to explore and experience the world in order to build their characters. Have you ever thought about your future children and what they will do?

There is no doubt that all parents dream of the successes of their children. Many see their children as doctors, lawyers, engineers and teachers, and to be successful, they must spend their time studying. They may feel that adventure takes their minds off their studies and does not help them focus on what is important. It is just playing after all? Right? Furthermore, there are too many risks. What would happen if they fell and broke their leg or arm? What would happen to their studies then? In addition to this, some parents also believe that their children are not responsible enough to take on adventures away from home. How could they possibly help them if something went wrong? Adventures away from home are for other people, not their children.
